Electrolysis Insurance Coverage

Overview

Many insurance companies only cover electrolysis in preparation for GCS. At this time we only work with Kaiser as a preferred provider. At the end of each month we will compile a reimbursement receipt for the client to receive payment from their insurance company. We do not work directly with the insurance companies.

Kaiser

At this time Kaiser covers both face electrolysis and surgical prep electrolysis (body and groin). You must be preapproved through your insurance to be eligible for reimbursements.

Payment is due at the time of service and at the end of each month a receipt for reimbursement will be emailed to you. It is your responsibility to submit it.

If you have another insurance provider please contact them regarding your coverage. We are happy to supply you with a super bill post appointment, but cannot guarantee you will be reimbursed for your services.

Cancellation & No Show Policy (Insurance Coverage)

The time you schedule is reserved for your exclusive use. When appointments are missed, or cancelled without sufficient notice, we are unable to fill the vacancy. Therefore, causing substantial financial impact to the business and your Electrologist, and does not allow another client to receive treatment that has been waiting.

Our booking services will provide an email at the time of an appointment reservation, a second email 24 hours before appointment and a text reminder 60 minutes before appointment. You can change the times you receive reminders to accommodate how much time you need to align with our cancellation policies and time scheduled.

If you are under insurance, separate charges and receipts have to be made, there is no reimbursement or insurance charge for cancellations or no shows.

If you are late to an appointment you will be charged for the time that you’re late (cash price) and then we will ONLY charge insurance for the treatment time that you’re receiving services.

Due to the laborious work of groin appointments we can only schedule so many a week. Physically we are unable to double up the next week if our maximum hours are met. Therefore, delaying your progress or another client’s inability to prepare for surgery in a timely manner. This creates a situation where multiple missed appointments could create a change to your surgery date, or going into your surgery under prepared. If hours allow, a different electrologist can be seen to accomplish hours unless their hours are maxed out as well. The timeline created during your consultation for surgery prep is EXTREMELY important to stick to for the best outcome.

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
